Question Which Trolling motor battery's do you recommend?

Can anyone comment on which brand(s) of trolling motor battery's they would recommend for using with a MK Terrova I-Pilot 80 lbs thrust? The MK is used to troll spinners/cranks and used while casting and jigging.

Are Exide Battery's by Complete Battery a good battery to purchase? Are there certain brands that i should consider and others to avoid? I'm looking for a good battery that would hold its charge and hold up to trolling spinners or cranks for a full day or close to a full day.

Thanku.

My buddy and I both have Group 29 AC Delco Voyagers in our boats and our fishing techniques are the same as yours. He drives a Ranger 681T and I have a 619 DVS.

Price is always an issue so Walmart will come up right away. With batteries you pay for what you get. Some of the Sears high end batteries are good and they seem to stand behind their product. Trojan, Odyssey, Exide are poplar names and do you want a AGM battery which is very popular.

bigger batteries will ensure you a full day out on the lake as well as a onboard charger. I have been giving a set of sams club group 27 0r 29's a try. So far they have treated me good.

I'm seriously considering the Sams Club/Duracell/East Penn 31M AGM that they offer for my next rig. 800 CCA/1000 MCA, 200 RC, 105 AH $166.

Default Group 31 AGM's

I would go with good quality Group 31 AGM Batteries. There are many good one's out there in many different price ranges.

I like my Die Hard Platinum BUT the way Sears has been treating it's customers I'd lean to the Delco's.
