Sams club group 31 AGM, I fished last Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon about 6 hours each day without recharging (no power). Running the motor between 5-6 and I still had power left when I got home today.

I've heard a lot of good things about these batteries, not to bad of a price either as I recall.

Why do you like these batteries so much and have you been using them for years? I run one as an accessory battery only for two years and I am wondering what kind of life to expect

Question

Anyone have a price on what to expect to pay for the Sam's Club AGM 31 or 29 series and does sams club take back your old battery's for a small price? Again, these battery's are being used with a MK I-pilot 80 lb on a lund 186 gl to use for trolling spinners/cranks and casting/jigging. Sounds like these battery's are pretty good and hold up well even with not having a well known name like "Optimas" for example. That is a long time to put the battery's to use and still yet have plenty of juice in them at the end of the day. That's a selling point.

For the AC Delco Voyager Group 29's, can they found only at certain stores? Price for these battery's would be about what?

Don't know much about Exide battery's? Anyone have any experience with them?

Any battery's i should stay away from?

Thanku.

like I mentioned in my post above, the Sams 31M AGM is $166 at my local club http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/pr...navAction=push

Sams club have a duracell sticker on them but they are made by east penn mfg also known as deka. As HRG guy said price is $166 and the sams club I go to does take your old battery for 5.00 and no core charge.

Default Delco,s

I'm currently running my 10 year old Delco's in my 2003 Pro-V.

I fish an average of 80 days a year.

It is hard to argue with that kind of luck.
