Default Easy to use large screen fishfinder

My freind is a 70 year old fisherman, he had a lms 337 5" screen fishfinder, but the screen was to small to see, so he up graded to a HDs8 in 2011, now he says the HDs8 is to complicated to use. Could anyone sugest a easy to use 7" or 8" unit. Thanks Icebuster

Having used both brands, in my opinion the Humminbird units are much more user friendly and easy to use. Their menu is logical and just makes more sense in the way it operates.

I suggest taking him to a store that carries different brands, and has them on display to play with. Let him decide which one works best for him.
