so my dog came into heat this weekend. I woke up saturday morning to find a little black/white mutt type of little dog in my kennel. I have a female lab, so I don't know if this little guy could even reach her, but I want to know if there is any kind of plan b shot or pill I can get for my female. I planned on breeding her in december with another LAB, not some mutt thing.
Thanks guy |

How long has she been in heat? You could take her to the vet and have her progesterone tested RIGHT NOW and then again in a day or two and once more a day or two after that. This will tell you if she is ovulating or not. If she's not ovulating and will not be ovulating in the next three days then you should be good. Semen can livei n a female for about 3 days. FYI the progesterone test will run $65 - $100 each. Raise bulldogs and all this becomes second nature!

French and English. If I could figure out how to post a picture I would show the 3 little English male black tri-colored carriers we had last Friday.

French bulldogs remind me of yoda lol. very cute. I had an english, but when it went I didn't get another not because they aren't great dogs, but because of the health problems. Americans of course have the big dog health problems, but they've been less expensive for me than the english was.
