Hello Guys,
This year I bought a 2012 Pro Guide 1825 at our local boat show from Nelson Marine in White Bear Lake. I have had nothing but problems with this dealer and boat. After coming from a Crestliner I thought this is going to be a huge upgrade and a way better fishing boat. Well let me tell you I was wrong. Here are all the problems I’ve been having. I’ve had all three seats break, took it up to the dealership to get fixed I come home and there is a bolt for one of the seats sitting on the floor of the boat and the driver seat does not lock. All three locks on the boat have went out. The carpet is starting to come undone on the command center. Running light has went out and a pole for the tarp has broke. So this was my first lund and will also be my last. I knew I should of went with a glass boat. I guess if I sell this boat my next boat will be a Yar-craft 2095. Hey 208 Pro V.
I fell you I don't want to take a hit like that. I think since Brunswick took over they have gone downhill. The only thing on this boat that has worked is the Yamaha motor. Thank god i didn't go with a Mercury since that is also owned by Brunswick. I'm really close to hiring a lawyer and claiming lemon law. Last edited by Juls; 07-02-2012 at 06:34 PM. Get a lawyer, pay the 5K to get it to court. Judge will say, Take it back to Lund and have them fix the issues.
Now you our out 5K for attorney and have a boat that is fixed. Then sell the boat and loose an additional 5 to 8k and buy the boat you want. After your all done, you will only be out 10 to 13k and you can start all over again. Lemon law for seats bases a tarp pole and a running light, etc ect...... Good luck with that. I think you really need to read up on Lemon laws, they are not the fix-all you seem to think they are. By the way, I'm sorry your purchase did not meet your expectations. When the anger of the situation calms down a bit, (if ever) get the boat repaired (It's under Warranty) and sell it and move on. Betters days are ahead. Chair |

I would call Lund 1st. Next I would seriously consider bringing it to a different dealer (if possible). Good luck.

For seats, a tarp pole and a light I don't think you will get to far with the lemon law, all that will get you is attorney fees. I would say contact Lund and bring it to a different dealer, one that cares about customer service. Lund doesn't want you to be unhappy, and the issues that need to addressed don't seem to be that big of a deal, and any reputable dealer would of had this all resolved by now.

Get Lund involved they earned a great name by quality and customer service.
They might end up finding a new supplier for thier rigging if this continues. I`d go to **** and back before I hire a lawyer only they win. |
