Default Screen Protectors

has anyone put a screen protector on their fish finder, or know if there are any companies out there that make em for specific units? for some reason, people just love to put their greasy finger prints all over my hds screen... drives me nuts.

I looked for one last year to no avail! I now carry a small bottle of 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water, give the screen a quick spray and wipe down with a micro fiber cloth! Looks brand new in just seconds!!

I never used a screen protector but it seems like an awesome idea. Perhaps the same ones we use for our iPads. They can be bought at Wal-Mart.

I put on my LCX27, LCX15mt and EagleStrike2000c. I forgot which company was it but they have specific one for specific model.....lowrance, Eagle, hummbird....you name it. BUT I will not do it again. Under the sun for number of 100 hours, they will have bubbles and than deteriorate slowly but surely. 1st season all good, mid 2nd season Shi* start happening. The one I have is different from those IPad's, its a lot softer and cannot be remove easy like IPad's once its on.

Well, maybe its a lousy company trying to copy a good company's product??? Or older unit's screen aren't suitable for that???? Or maybe its me????

I put one on my humminbird. I really like it. Fingerprints don't hardly show up, and if they do they're easier to clean off. Same goes for lake water spray. Got mine from XO skins, but can't remember if I got it off amazon or ebay.

Go to a cell phone retailer, I use the ones they sell for Ipads and such. Just cut to size.
