Default Dual Pro - PS2 - 15 Amp Bank Charger Problems

Greetings all,

I have a recently purchased Dual Pro PS-2 that has an issue. It wouldn't be too bad as I should be covered by warranty but I have a tourney this weekend and I want to be sure everything is functioning properly.

I went to plug it in this evening as I am leaving tomorrow in the morning and I noticed that the 2 rows of LED lights are missing. I am guessing that they were not seated properly and they are gone. I was hoping that I could see them somewhere in the housing but my efforts have gone unrewarded.

Getting that charger out at this point would be a fairly big task and because it is a water-proof casing, I'm guessing any warranty would be voided by my tampering.

I will pick up a battery tester tomorrow to see if the batteries are taking a charge but was wondering if anyone has come across this issue before and if so, was the charger still working without the LED lights? I'm guessing that it is taking a charge but of course, that is just guessing.

Any help or comments would be most appreciated. Thanks, Mony

Default Working

I'd say it's still working but I would pick up a volt meter and check each battery to make sure. Also might want to throw in a portable 12v charger just in case, can't be to safe when Tourny fishing!!

Thanks for the reply. Will do all of the above tomorrow. The PS2 has been great for the short time I have used it and this issue seems a bit odd. I would feel a lot better if I knew where the LED board fell to and I can't see it causing any peripheral damage to the charger... but I am far from an expert on these matters . Thanks again, Mony
