Default Erie - sandbar

Unbelievable fishing near the weather buoy out of Lorain. Caught 13 in 3 hrs, worm harnesses at 1.8 mph. Fair amount of white bass mixed in. Fish were 30-35' down in 46' of water.

I was off this hot week, and I got to get over there for 3 days. Went 2 times by myself and another day with a friend. And got 4 tickets in the 3 days. My best program was the school in the 2 ounce 65' back. Off of a church board. And using 2 ounce snap weights straight behind the boat, 60' to 65' back. Barbie pink blades did all of the damage. I dont think I caught 1 walleye on another color then pink blades. The beads were a ruby red color. Speed was 1.5 to 1.7 on the gps. And also I noticed that a north to NE troll caught almost every fish. Any other direction produced nothing.
The biggest fish was a 30" pig, and the smallest were 16" long. With a bunch of fish in between... There is a ton of room out there. The fish are all over the place. From the 36 N to the 40 N line. To the 19 W to the 23 W line. There are active pods all over out there...
