As I understand it, the primary upgrade to units in the 800 and 900 series will be the addition of LED backlit displays for improved daytime visibility. Unit numbering (and pricing!) will remain unchanged from the current run of units.

Does that cradle that's in the video come with it for the remote? What kind of charger comes with for the remote?

As I understand it, the cradle will be available separately as an accessory.

The Li Ion battery-powered remote will come with a charger. Off the top of my head, I don't remember if it is being supplied with an AC or 12 V DC charger; whichever is provided with the system, the other will also be available as an accessory.

Does HB make a chartplotter that will work with the Ilink?

The only 3-way split screen view available is 2D/DI/SI.

There are currently no chartplotter-only models available in the Humminbird lineup. There were some previously, but those legacy units are not ethernet compatible.

Do you know if the chart will have to be up when ilink is being used to follow contour?

The chart must be visible when selecting a contour to follow but I don't know if the chart must be visible while that function is in operation.

But here's the good news:

I just received my i-Pilot link this week. Next time I'm on the water, I'll try to get an answer to your question....if I can tear myself away from the Go To Spotlock function!!

I'm so bummed HAHA!.. I just bought a 24v 80LBS 60" Ipilot Terrova.. I tried to get an upgrade as I didn't know this comming out until after I purchased the TM.

MinnKota denied my request, even tho my unit hasn't even been in the water yet
