MIDWEST WALLEYE SERIES (MWS) THIRD TOURNAMENT SCHEDULED August 5, 2012 FISHING THE BAT OF GREEN BAY
APPLETON: The Midwest Walleye Series (MWS) will have their third tournament of the 2012 season in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Sunday August 5, 2012 and will include fishing the Bay of Green Bay. There will be registration and rules meeting held at Metro Park, Green Bay. WI. Registration is 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM with the rules meeting at 5:30 PM on Saturday, August 4, 2012. Teams must be off the water by 4:30 PM Saturday August 4, 2012. New teams must be signed up by 5:00 PM Saturday August 4, 2012 Tournament hours will be 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. Approved fishing waters include the Fox River from the Depere Dam north to a line between Marinette and Egg Harbor (The Wisconsin-Michigan border line extended to Door County). The top twenty five teams of the series will fish the championship tournament and attend the championship banquet. There will be no entry fee for the qualifiers. This years Championship will be September 20, 2012 fishing the Bay of Green Bay from Green Bay, WI. The MWS circuit is a professional, competitive, and affordable fishing opportunity. Results are posted on our website www.fishtfm.com as well as other web sites. Walleye First will be covering all 2012 tournaments. Bear Solis is also covering the MWS tournaments. Also, the Midwest Outdoors Magazine covers the tournament results. A subscription to the Midwest Outdoors Magazine in included with the MWS membership. The MWS is run by Fishermen for Fishermen. The major sponsors for the Midwest Walleye Series are Ranger Boats, Mercury Marine, Motorguide and Mills Fleet Farm. The Super Sponsor is TRS The Reel Shot Tournament Sponsors are Navionics, Smooth Move Seats Mounts, M W Marine and Lindahl LTD Supporting sponsors include Anglers Pride Specialties, All Sport Trophy, Envisionink Printing, Intruder Products, Marine General, EGO S2 Slider Nets, and Midwest Outdoors Magazine. There are still openings in this tournament. We will take entries up to the 5:00 PM Saturday August 4, 2012. However entries postmarked or taken after Saturday July 28, 2012 will be charged a processing fee. Launch/Weigh-In Information: Anglers Boat checks will also be done at Metro Park. prior to launching. Fish size: 15" and over. Teams are allowed 6 fish in the live well and are able to weigh 3 fish per team per day. |
