Default XM Radio

I am thinking on installing a radio in my Rebel XL and looking for suggestions on what marine stereo's are available and what you are using. Also where do you typically mount the speakers with minimal cutting on the boat.
Thank you,
Kipawa

I bought a base unit for in the house. I plug in a power inverter in my cigarette lighter in the boat and use that. I'm then able to use the same unit in the boat, camper, house & shop.

I'm not sure what brand radios guys are using. I think Sony had one but I'm not sure.

Default Narrowed down to two

I have it narrowed down to two, I have an older model Sony now, but need to decide for the new boat. For me it's down to the Fusion IP-600 and the SONY CDX-H910UI, I'm leaning towards the Sony.

As far as speaker placement goes, I'm not 100% familiar with the new Rebels (I had an older Rebel 16) but I would think that someplace on the side of the storage compartments near the floor would work, as long as you can get a wire to it, the only hole that you should have to make is one big enough for the speaker to fit into.
