Default Ipilot Remote "froze up" once...anyone else see this?

I just got my Terrova with Ipilot Monday last week. Used it 3 times and have been thrilled with it!! However, last night while trolling 'eye's on Geneva, the remote froze. I was in Autopilot and had the cruise on... when I tried to adjust my direction a little, nothing happened. The icons were still on the remote and the motor was still running... None of the buttons on the remote worked. So I unplugged the TM to shut it down and plugged it back in.... the remote stayed the same. It wasn't until after I stowed the motor, that the remote went blank (like it does when it's stowed) and then when I deployed the motor again, everything worked perfectly the rest of the night.

any idea if this is common or if it means I need a new remote? Is there something I needed to do to "wake up" the remote?

Maybe the batteries in the remote are old/bad.

You probably locked the remote. if you hold the light button for 3 seconds, it locks or unlocked it. Stowing or cutting power resets it to uocked.
