2006 225 Pro-XS Lower Unit

Does anyone know if a lower unit from a 2002 225 Opti-max with fit my Pro-XS?

In the book it looks like there the same gear ratio so it should bolt right up. The only difference is that the pro xs probaly has the fat shaft and the opti is going to have the standard prop shaft.
