Default Break in the weather

We have had a couple of thunderstorms here in Minneapolis that seems to finally have lifted the heat a bit.

It is now only about 65 for the first time in about a month.

The last few days it has been right at 100 or so. Plenty uncomfortable.

12" inches behind on rain. Lots of wildfires, ponds are going dry, and crops failing. Weather guy said its the first time in 11 years his 8 day outlook had high temps above 100 every day. Thats Kansas for you. 2005 to 2010 it flooded every summer, and 2011-2012 we can't get rain. I do see some lightning to the north west currently, and I have my fingers crossed.

WHOO HOO !!!
We finally got 1/10 inch of rain yesterday ... it felt soooooooo good to stand in it for the 20 minutes it rained.

100's predicted for the next 10 days on top of the last 2 1/2 weeks ...

Stay hydrated and know the danger signs of heat stress ... don't want to be losing anyone needlessly.

More heat coming REW. Fargo is supposed to be in the 90's again today.
