I have a 2004 Crestliner 202TS and just love it!! Welded hull, sprays the water away, and rides like a dream. Who says there is no love for Crestliner.

I went to look at the crestliner 18 foot pro tiller, nice boat until I asked for the price, they wanted 28,000 for boat motor and trailer. That was more than the pro guides I was looking at, and a lot more than my 185 competitor. It might have been that dealer, but I decided to go elsewhere.
Some people think if it's not a Ranger or Lund it's no good.
And the reason Bass masters is not coming back to Buffalo and lake Erie is because too many Ranger type boats got swamped. So much for "not quite deep interior".
Are you saying that all Ranger type boats are bass boats? Lots of difference in a Ranger Z commanche and a 619-621 Fisherman. Top bass boat manufacturers also have a multi species line up so I don't follow what you are talking about. No particular order, just what I thought of first to last. 1. Skeeter WX1800-2000 series 2. Ranger - Reata - fisherman series 3. Bass Cat - Yar Craft 4. Triton - 200x series 5. Nitro - 290 sport 6. Stratos - XF and DV series Last edited by Pezman38; 07-20-2012 at 07:09 AM. |

Don't get me wrong, Ranger's are well built boats. Lunds also are good boats. And Lunds and Crestliners are both made by Brunswick. They are two different "animals". The only thing in common is the quality of craftsmanship and the sparkles. Juls

My buddy bought a new Crestliner. he referred to it as a 'Wetliner' after the first season. After season two, it was taking on water. He took it to the dealer, and after inspection, they found a dozen cracks in various welds. They repaired it uner warranty, no problem. He sold it a week later. Overall, he was happy with it, but it was a wet ride, and the hull failed after two seasons of mild use.

Jim
I agree Radnine, but sometimes it's best to just ignore trolls. The whole purpose of trolls is to disrupt a discussion and ruin our enjoyment when coming here. They go for a reaction, then when they get it they see how far they can get it to run. The irony of trolls here is the internet term comes from trolling for fish, or trying to elicit a " reaction bite". You gotta admit it's kinda funny here.
