Exclamation Stratos 385 XF

I am looking to upgrade from my 1760 DV to the 385 XF. Anyone run one out there? I love my 1760 and hate to get rid of it, but it does not have the power to move with the big boys and their 250's haha.

I have a 385XF, with a 150 on it I cannot run with the BIG BOYS, but we really like the boat. Send me a pm if you want to hear more.

When you buy the 385 - add another two inches of composite material to the transom with appropriate braces and drop a 300 hp engine on the boat and then you WILL run with the big boys.

I have a 2008 385xf with a 150 Yamaha and a T8 kicker, you should have NO problem fishing with the "big boys." They may arrive a hair quicker than you do, but don't feel that you don't have enough boat to do the job. I've had mine on Lake Michigan and Lake Erie in some pretty wicked conditions, and as long as you use your head, you'll be fine.

I've sold plenty of them, and not heard anyone say that they didn't have enough boat.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the input! Do you get use out of your kicker? I was thinking about leaving that one alone for the moment and working on the graphs and all the other goodies.

graphs are done! Thanks to Lowrance and a HDS-8 and for the front a HDS-5. Also picked up 7 new St Croix backed by Pflueger reels. If you have not had the enjoyment of working a St Croix 7ft ML and stick a Pflueger Medalist 750X on it, I AM GOING TO HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Search Triton fishunter 186 or Champion fishunter 186. Same boat as the Stratos. It was a shared hull between the three. Not many people like it as it road like a lumber wagon.
