Default Berkley Series One

Anyone know if someone makes a rod similar to the old Berkley Series One. I have one of these rods and haven't used a rod that I've ever loved as much as this one. I use it from bottom bouncing to cranks to jigging. Is there a model that is very similar?

I have a Series One Bait caster that I use for heavier bouncers too. I like it, but it is comparitively stiff to other medium actions. It is light.

My buddy swears by the "Air" series, also by Berkley.

I'm also looking for Berkley Series One Accuflex Spinning Rod.

My 8-year old crushed my old Berkley Series One Accuflex 6' Medium Light Spinning Rod with the striped foam handle (W28) under a boat cleat this spring.

I never cared for the cork handled ones they upgraded these into

Anyone have one they'd be willing to sell?

Best.

Actually you may want to look closely at the Abu-Garcia "Veritas" line of rods if you are looking for a very close "similar" rod to the Series One line of rods in regards to action, feel etc! As has been customary with Pure Fishing in the past, when they have two different series of rods that are very similar, they will discontinue the one line (series) in order to increase sales of the other! Other than the color of the two different brands/series, there is very little difference between them! The Veritas rods are white, the Series One rods were black! I've got several of each and love them!

That's a good tip. I'll check them out, Hawker.
