Default looking for a budget catfish/trolling rod

Wanting to purchase a couple catfish rigs that could 2nd as trolling rods for cranks ect... I'm a poor college student and am not really wanting to spend more then $100 for both the rod and reel. I was looking at the following and just looking for others opinions.

Can you access a Scheels store? They have some Okuma 8'6" rods on sale for 19.99. They are marketed as Catfish rods. IMO, might be a bit long for Catfishing, but they would certainly be a good fit for trolling. I bought a pair to use as downrigger rods.

I've got two of these. You'd be very hard pressed to find a better value, and they perform very well. http://www.basspro.com/Shimano-TDR-C...ct/58573/42380

I bought a couple of Daiwa Wilderness trolling rods for the downrigger. They work great and you can't beat the price (I got mine for $12 apiece).

For a budget rod, you can't go wrong with an Ugly Stik

And I've always had good luck with BPS reels.
