Default What do you make?

It would be interesting to hear what kind of home grown tackle everyone makes.

My own leaders for Musky fishing, and my own Bass jigs, and that is about it.

When I see some of the home crafters/builders/painters post things they have built or painted it always blows me away. The Internet is one serious way of pooling talent.

Default Spinners

Right now nothing....unless you count tieing harnesses. I just got the supplies to paint my own blades. We'll see after I get into that a bit if I enjoy it enough to expand.

so far spoons, and tied a couple harness's up. But I think I will pick up a jig head mold next since I have a small supply of lead to put to good use.

Thumbs up Harnesses count

Wyn:

Of course harnesses count! I would include anything in your make-my-own list that you can either make cheaper or better than you can buy it. . .that's why harnesses count.

Along with harnesses, I mess around with colors a bit, using tape, paint, nail polish--you name it.

I've made harnesses, bucktail jigs, bucktails and marabou tails for inline spinners, ice fishing jigs for panfish and pike/musky flies.

Mostly easy stuff. Perhaps at some point I'd like to try some rod building and knife making.
