Thumbs up does ot matter

I would fish the places I fish now, no matter what the cost of fuel. what ever the cost you have to include that price in your trip. I just got back from a fly in trip to northern Quebec , the trip is about $1500 all added up. To most guys this is a trip of a lifetime. do not scimp on your trips like this.most people have worked hard all there lives. You can not take your money with you when you die,and you will leave some type of bills behind.
My wife says if I go fishing one more time she's going to leave me, I miss her already

acafisherman, your dream trip includes lakes with invasive species problems mixed in with lakes without known problems. I hope you would split the trip into contaminated and clean divisions, with a boat cleaning/disinfection separating the two.

Lake Winnipeg is a little too far north, I'm not sure about Rainy Lake; that's also out of the way, and Winnebago and Green Bay are pretty accessible to me regularly.

Phil- I plan to use cleaning procedures recommended by NOAA to decontaminate the boat after use in waters with species like zebra mussels or Eurasian milfoil. Here's the link to the website.

Most of the waters there are very well used so I'm sure that locations for this are available. Please tell me if there is a problem with this because I am interested in trying to conserve all waters.

Probably hit Red Lake Canada more/again, I'd like to do a few multi day trips in the Dakota's, maybe Devils lake and some others, and right now I'd be hitting Superior far up the north shore and maybe Green Bay or a few of them bays over that way.

Maybe drive down to Florida and catch the Garlits drag racing museum on the way to a charter for big sea fish.

I don't know about a trip, but I'd get a GREAT BIG TRUCK! My days of hitting the big water in an 18 foot tin can would probably be over too.

I'd fish on the other side of the lake....far from where I launched.

I'd fish the same places I fish now. I'd just fish out of a 2075 Pro-V instead of an older 1800.

I would stay in Canada longer, fish farther out. Maybe spend more time in the boat running up the river farther

Speaking for myself, time constraints are as much a consideration (maybe more?) than fuel.
