Default Outboard Motor

I have a Force 120 HP. What do I have to do to get it ready for the season. What else should I check out on my boat. Thank You.

Default RE: Outboard Motor

Check gas, oil, battery--then crank. If you winterized, it should be smokey at first, then clear up. Run it around a little, then change the lower unit oil if you didn't last fall. Now would also be a good time to check/change the spark plug.

You could also check the trailer bearings. And hit any other zerk fittings with a squeeze or two.
