Does anyone have any updates fishing the area? Looking for advice or recommendations fishing this Thursday in the area.

I'd go right on up to the Tailrace below the dam. Easy limits there now pretty much every evening. Or at least to the Washburn area.

I think you might have better luck fishing above or below Bismarck right now, rather than around town.

Default Tail race

Went up to the tail race to go after some eyes. Thanks Jim for the advice as I had never fished there before. Although we didn't get into the walleyes as we had hoped, our first fish was about a ten pound cat. My 11 year old and 15 year old sons had a blast catching 5-10 lbs cats for the 4 hours we fished netting about 20 nice cats! Didnt keep any but found a pattern to catch those feisty fish. We had a blast and like I said, although they weren't walleyes, we adapted in the enjoyment of battling those strong fish in the current. Great time!
