Sorry to hear that ... we are not far behind you in temps here in South Dakota.

I have just resigned myself to the fact that this year a guy needs to wear a Jacket if it is not warm enough that he can't wring out his jockeys by 8am ....
Wondering how long it will take to adjust to the fall weather ... if it ever happens ...

Default Climate is what you expect, weather is what you get.

Here in NW indiana it has been hot, too.

The National Weather Service has been keeping records on Chicago since 1895. There have been hot periods before, and that is in 117 years.

In the 60's and the 70's it was Global Cooling. I'll take the heat.

Default lack of rain

It averages out... we can say the same for food prices! This is going to have a huge impact on the economy!

114 set a record for yesterday's date! Tulsa was recorded yesterday as "The Hottest Place in the World" for the day per local news last night! I'm sure somebody will "Snope" it just to say it wasn't, don't matter,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, HOT is HOT!!! I know it's HOT and dry elsewhere too, but this week I'm a whiner, cuz I got all of it and more than I wanted last year and now all this past week!! Virtually the entire state is under a burn ban to boot! Walking in my yard is like walking on a box of spilled wheaties,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, crunch crunch crunch!!! At least I don't have to mow and even the weeds are havin a hard time of it LOL!!
