Right on dude. Thanks for taking me out on your lake. Stay in touch and hopefully we'll see you next year on the road.

Had a good time. For sure you will see me around next year. You were not far off from the championship for only fishing 2 events. Get it done next year.

I know of several teams that had members fishing in the exact same areas where one caught fish and others didn't. Things can change minute to minute out on the water and sometimes it is the one who makes the right adjustments that catches all the fish. You can have all the same prefishing info but once you take off you are on your own.

It means that if you are working with someone you need to be 100 percent open and honest as you talk each night about how your fishing went ,where the fish are at and what programs are working. If you look at other guys working (teamed up)together you will see they all are general in the same portion of the field together not one at the top and one at the bottom unless there was mechanical issues especially in a trolling program.

Absolutely correct things can and do change on the water even with everyone having the same prefishing info. But sometimes it is also a indication of other factors

I will not post names online but I fished the tournament as well as the rest of the tour. I'm getting to know who some of the teams are. I wouldn't dare give reasons why but looking at the standings I can see several teams where one or two finished in the top 20 or 30 and others finished much lower. And we are talking about guys that room together, travel together, eat meals together while on the road and I'm sure are friends off the water as well as on. There is lots of info to digest every night and sometimes they make decisions based on what they think is right for them. I also know that because this was the last tournament to qualify for the championship there were more than a few guys out there that were just looking to not drop out of the top 40. I heard it said many times last week that it was a goal to take 5 fish to the scales every day no matter the size.
