Default yamaha f225 losing power

My 2004 f225hp four stroke will run fine for the first couple hours. Then all of a sudden when im half to 3/4 throttle the rpms would back down. Anyone ever have this problem before? The motor only has 95 hours on it. Could a code be coming up on the computer restricting rpms?

Thanks

Default Possible fuel pump

Sound like it could be a number do things. If you have replaced fuel filters that you have access to then it could be fuel lines, dip tube, or most likely one of your fuel pumps. Sounds like you reach a point where the low pressure pump can't supply enough fuel to the hi pressure pump. If you have checked all possibilities from the tank to the last fuel filter then you will have to have a test done on the fuel system to identify.

Good luck

Bill

It could also be a restriction in the fuel tank vent (bugs)
