Default 08 Smartcraft guages

I have two Smartcraft gauges a Speedo and a Tach,
Is there a way to see trim percentage? I've gone through the menus on both but haven't found anything, is there a option to select in a menu?

Gauges are for a 250 Pro XS

Should be. There's a way to activate the different features. Been so many years since I've messed with it though that I couldn't tell you how. All I remember that trying to calibrate the trim was a major pain in the you know what, so I gave up. LOL I think there should be a manual online thru Merc.

on page #19 of the online user manual http://www.mercurymarine.com/media/m...ners_Guide.pdf it shows how to calibrate the trim display, provided your engine has the digital trim sender installed.

this thread should help too. http://www.bbcboards.net/mercury-3-l...tallation.html

Default Well now what?

Took the boat out and (after printing off instructions) ran thru the menu's.

There was a option to calibrate (which I did) the trim but no option to VIEW the trim angle on the LCD display?

Question: Is there a way to install a trim angle guage?

Motor is a Mercury 08 250 Pro XS
