Been looking at eagle from local dealer but from what some of you are saying the heritage is just as good. Another question that has come up is leaf spring or torsion. Thanks gu

Not sure on the leafs vs torsion. Give the manufacture a call. I know heritage has both types available. You can't go wrong with a custom trailer regardless on which one you pick.

I know my next boat will also have a custom trailer.

The only thing I will say is GALVANIZED>>>GALVANIZED>>>GALVANIZED... Sick of seeing rusty trailers after a few years.

both are fine

My boat trailer has leafs, the snowmobile trailer has torsion

I personally prefer leafs, I like being able to easily inspect them. You cannot see whats going on inside the torsion spring

X100000000 on the purchase of a galvanized trailer.
Sure a galvanized trailer may not look as nice as a painted trailer when new, but it will never look any worse and you will never have to worry about rust.
