If you are staying in Pierre, hutch would be a great choice.

There tends to be a great bite farther north later in the year, if you are going up towards mobridge i have a few more suggestions

Chad Schilling would be a great choice too. I would guarantee you would have a great time.

Not only is he fun, funny, and just an all around great guy, he happens to be this years FLW Walleye Tour Angler of the Year too....

His place is North of Pierre.

I'll 2nd Juls if you will be in the Akaska/Mobridge area. You wont find a better guide than Chad in the area. This man is always on fish.

I am not sure Chad is always available to guide as he runs the FLW and is on the water anywhere... I believe he does have guides under his company guide service that could provide you with great fishing in the Akaska area of the Missouri River system. The area this is; is in the Upper water tributary just South of Mobridge and North of Whetlocks or Gettysburg, although I would suspect they would go almost anywhere for good fishing and Sept should be good/ cool evenings and mornings.
