Congratulations and THANKS to all 74 teams that fished the MWS Winnebago tournament.

The winds were pretty brisk making travel very interesting for the teams. The temps were considerably cooler than the past couple weeks. The sun was out all day with fairly comfortable temperatures throughout the day. The wind continued all day. The fish cooperated with teams having success boating large numbers of fish with teams saying they boated 36 to 48 fish in the twenty four inch size but the bigger fish turned off. Fifty nine teams weighed a three fish limit. There was a total of 189 fish caught weighing a total of 1009.16#.

The team of Phil Pahnke and Chad Wertephy took first place with three fish weighing 21.16# winning them $3,800. Second place went to the team of Matt Hietpas and Josh Hietpas with three fish totaling 20.96# for $2,000. Third place went to the team of husband/wife is Ron and Vickie Goldapske. with three fish weighing 20.62# for $1,100. Fourth place went to the team of Scott Valleskey and John Clumpner with three fish totaling 20.56.16# for $900. John and Scott also had the big fish of the tournament with a 8.20# walleye Fifth place went to the team of Rick Henriksen and Tom Zollar with three fish weighing 20.3.0# for $700.

The Navionics award went to the team of Jon Janiak and Brian Smit

The Tommy Harris award went to the team of Chris Spiering and Ryan Deeg.

The Ego Slider net award went to the Husband/wife team of David Mydlo and Melissa Mydlo

The Intrude Products/Anglers Pride Specialties award went to the team of Matt Kolb and Steve Kolb

The big fish of the tournament weighing 8.20# was caught by the team of Scott Valleskey and John Clumpner winning them two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy, and two $50 gift certificate donated by TRS The Reel Shot home of the JJ Keller fishing team.

Current Team of the year is Jason Miller and Matt Miller going for the TRS The Reel Shot home of the JJ Keller fishing team bonus of $1,000. They are also the current Sibling team of the year. The current parent/child Team of the year is Mike Gengalo Sr and Mike Gengalo Jr. Current husband/wife team of the year is Ron and Vickie Goldapske.
