I want to thank everyone for the kind words. Update, as of today he has stabilized enough where they are going to try and wake him from the induced coma. Problems are kidneys are not working, neither is the liver...but his heart strength has improved.

Wow....so young. Sending him best wishes for speedy recovery. Doctors can be wrong sometimes. He's young and strong and can hopefully pull through this.

Positive news! They were able to bring him out of the coma yesterday, he responded to yes and no questions, his liver is starting to function again and his heart is gaining strength. However, the breathing tubes and dialysis catheters were irritating him to the point they had to sedate him to prevent him tugging on them. They are going to try to slowly bring him back out of the coma state again today. Kidneys are still not working either.
