Default Usain Bolt class act

I just saw a video where Usain Bolt is being interviewed after his 100 meter victory and the "Star Spangled Banner" starts playing in the background for a US gold medalist. Bolt immediately stops the interview and turns toward the podium and waits until the anthem is over to finish the interview. For some reason I am not able to paste link, but go to YouTube and type in "Usain Bolt national anthem" and it comes up.

I watched a feature on Bolt and his upbringing. He is giving back to his home village as he gains wealth. they showed a school that he paid to have electricity put in the classrooms, a school where he bought computers for the students and his old high school where when he signed an endorsement deal for shoes made them include a clause where the manufacture would provide shoes every year to the kids that attended the school

I don't know how much he makes from his athletics but he certainly is proving he is a humanitarian.

Very respectful of him. I have always been a fan.

He truly is the fastest man on the planet. I love watching him run. He looks like he could track down a cheeta he's so fast.

The guy pulls up on half his runs it seems like. Kind of a nice way of NOT crushing his competitors.

He would be crushing records if he didn't do that. The speed this guy possesses would be AMAZING to see in person.

Class act for sure. He is worth over 20 million, signed a 30 million deal with Puma last year. He is reported to be the 63rd highest paid athelete, with capable earnings of 20 million a year in endorsements alone from here on out.

Hopefully he stays true to himself. How lucky to be fast and have the name "Bolt". That will earn him some money right there. I can't get out of my chair as fast as he runs 100 meters. He does it in 41 steps.

What he said. Respect is something very seldom seen of late. Especially from some of todays athletes. Hats off to you Mr. Bolt. Well done.

Wouldn't it be nice to see all Americans give the same respect to our National Anthem as Mr. Bolt did ?
