Is the new ramp private or state run?
Thanks
Mike

Bitter has been producing good fish, although it has slowed down. I would forget the BB and through cranks over the weeds or jigs/mimics through the weeds. That's where I've found the bigger fish to be.

Default Bitter and other glacial lakes

I would like to start fishing the glacial lakes. I fished Roy once (didn't boat a fish) and fished Waubay twice (did fantastic on Perch and Crappie) these trips took place about 8 years ago. I would gladly trade a river trip for a lake trip with any interested people.

I thought this would work, but we were catching fish on the spinner rigs just outside the weeds and no one wanted to switch things up. I'm definitely going to try this the next time out. Glad to see there is another Mimic Minnow fan out there. They work.

Wonder if weed weasels and action tails would work in and among the weed beds...
