Default need out dated transducers

I have one and a friend has one; X65 Lowrance graphs. They both have cut chords to the transducers. They are to outdated to buy new. Does anyone know of a place that might sell such items?

Have you tried to splice them back together? I worked in a Marine dealership in the rigging department for several years and spliced many of them succesfully. Give it a try. Rob

Make sure that where you splice the cable if you do decide to splice it, you don't have the cable near water. If water gets into the cable it will short out the data connection and the unit will be useless. If the cut it too close to the bilge, or the transom, you would be better off to try and find used or new transducers. If the cuts are where the cable will be hidden from any water damage, then you will be fine. Just make sure they are solid connections with solder and heat shrink with adhesive lining, or crimp but connectors with heat shrink tubing layered on the outside. Hope this helps you out.
