Default Tires

Just went to the dealer to price some new tires for my boat trailer. They recommended Carlisle
radials. Anyone using radials on their trailer?

My trailer has them on and its a 2009. No problems so far but as Perch said most people do not have much good to say about them or they just loved their Marathon tires not sure which.

I had the Carlisle radials on my old boat, They have go to be something special because someone was willing to jack my boat trailer up and take them home with them while I was fishing at a small nearby lake.

Is he the only dealer? Is he selling what he has on the shelf?
Carlisle does not have a good rep.

Busman,
The only tires that I have been using for the last many years have been radial tires.

The last pair of tires that I purchased last month for the trailer was a set of Carlise Radials.

They key for any trailer tire purchase is to buy a set of tires that have the correct load rating on the tires, keep the tires balanced, roated and properly inflated.

Be safe
