I had a 2005 navigator classic 16 foot with 60 yamaha 4 stroke about 32 mph with one person and gear

I found a 2007 g3 v167c with a 60 hp Yamaha. Has 200 hrs on it and is in excellent shape. What's yaalls thoughts on that setup? Thank you very much.

If it will be safe for the waters YOU fish, generally set up how YOU like to fish, will give YOU adequate storage, works within YOUR budget and can be towed with what YOU have, then it will be the greatest boat in the world.

I have a 17' G3 (almost a carbon copy of the alumacraft under discussion) with a 50 hp Yamaha 4 stroke. Had it for 11 years. Two fat guys with a full live well + gear can plane out in a few seconds in any water. Top end cruise is about 30-32 mph. 25 mph is really a nice speed for this tiller boat (steering wheels are for trucks!). I fish two lakes: One is 10,000 acres, the other 20,000 acres. I really can't get excited about being in a hurry when I'm fishing, except when those pesky thunderstorms interrupt my day. I can get from one good spot to another on these lakes in, literally, a few minutes. OK for me. Good fishin'
