Was wondering what everyone is using for a prop on their 177 warrior tiller. It's a 1996 with a 75 merc 2 stroke and a 18 pitch ss mercury prop. Seems to work pretty hard to get on plane, but once its on top the water the tach is at 5200, and 33 on the gps. Also it pulls pretty hard on your arm even with the tab turned.

I have the v1890 with a merc 90 horse that has a SS mercury 5 blade with a 20 pitch. It's suppose to make it easier to; get on plane fast, give you more control and make it easier to steer the motor.....I guess it does that but sometimes I feel like I should have just bought one of those informercial magic magnetic bracelets instead and saved myself 400.00

I have a 1996 warrior177 DC with walkthough windsheild and 115hp opti and use a 17" pitch tophy plus 4 blade.I have some extra weight on my boat because i also use a merc 9.9hp 4 stroke kicker plus two electric troller motors that are both 24 volt.I tried lots of different props and the trophy seems to work best.It keeps me right at max operating rpm of 5500-5600r rpm with two people on board at 38 mph, which is recomened for Merc 115hp opti.
