Nice to see a few duck hunters here.

I got into hunting my boat blind out on lake superior for several years. One blue bird day we decided to take a ride and see what the big lake looked like and ther were rafts of ducks everywhere. it was addicting as we never knew what we were going to see. One day it would be scooters or oldsquaws on a more pleasant day it would be puddle ducks or bluebills.
It was very foreign; we would get those early ducks that would swing by and take a look at our decoys, not really decoying but just passing over for a looksee on their way to wherever. As the morning got brighter the rafts would sometimes lift off and come over for a pass with my big ol boat sticking out like a sore thumb.
It got a little wavey sometimes and scared us away. Universally, we suffered from seasickness too and that wasn't a great way to start a morning. Imagine after setting out ganglines of decoys a half mile offshore, seeing only as far as what your q-beams would penetrate, then you would sit there, anchored, in the swells for a half hour waiting to see shore so you can fix on anything.

I have a tracker 1860 john with a 40 merc tiller on the back. Great all-round boat for the Missouri river, duck hunting, fishing, etc.

I also have a Spectrum Pro Avenger 16C with a 40 Force that I am getting ready to put on the market.

I am negotiating on a 2012 Lund Alaskan 2000 DC for use on the SD river system.

I want to get a 14 ft john for small no-wake lake fishing / all-electric lakes.
Never enough boating options.

X2 The larger boat is at the cabin while the other is at home.
