I have had the boat for a year know, and hav'nt needed the livewell. I use a cooler with block and cube ice.
Anyway, found out the livewell pump/hose is supplying the washdown system. Wondering if I can put in a "t" or better to get a separate livewell pump on a separate line. I figured I can get access via the floor but dont know for sure. |

No reason why not.
But do you really want the hassle and trouble of a livewell? After all, it is pretty easy to decide if you are going to keep a fish isn't it? So, doesn't it really make more sense to keep your dead well - i.e. cooler with ice in it? REW |

What if he wants to fish tournaments where the fish need to be alive?

Then he would need to keep the fish alive until they were weighed in.

Mark,
It should be a pretty easy and straight forward job. I would just go to the hardware store and get plastic valves to affect the change in the plumbing. Should cost about $10 and an hour or so of your time. REW |
