Default Pro V drawer

I am leaning towards the drawer option for our 1775 pro V SE. Any opinions? Looks like about 250 bucks? Also, are the gunwales wood so easy to put in flush rod holder mounts?
Thanks!

Lund has done a nice job of balancing out the number of drawers with their drawer option, while still providing the traditional interior design option on the 1775 and 1875. They are both nice. It's a real personal decision, you should be the one to think about the storage needs and what will work best for you. I like the drawer option, it's not overdone.

The gunnels are aluminum top, some of the area has a backer board under the aluminum top. If you want to put a flushmount where there is no backer-board, it's easy to do, and would be a good step. Most of the area already has backer-board, but not all of it.

If you have to you can always drill through the wood. I don't like putting holes in my boat if I don't have to, so I prefer the rear rails and mounts on the rail. You should also have the pro trak feature which means you can put rod holders anywhere.

I got the drawer option on my 1875 and think they are a good idea. On the 1875 they will hold 6 Plano 3700 boxes each. It is clean, reasonably dry storage that is convenient and one can never have enough storage. It is a little tricky to remove one of these drawers as the slides are a bit of a challenge but they are worth it.

I have the the 1875 and was going to order the drawers. My dealer told me they have had a few boats require the drawers to be replced due to slide failure. Sounds like it could have been due to owner abuse? I opted to leave the drawers out and happy with the decision, still alot of storage area and the wind of trailering and movement on the water does not seem to move stuff around. After having my boat the only caution I have is rain and splashed water runs along the dash between the consoles and runs down the corner of the upright. For those having drawers does this water land inside the drawer?
