Default Anyone NOT happy with their 60" Plasma?

Looking at a 60" plasma by Panasonic for my basement. I did a search and read a lot of the older "plasma vs LED" threads. Just wondering about more recent plasma purchases and whether or not anyone is regretting their purchase.

Thanks!!

I had two 50" Panasonic Plasmas that went out twice in less than a 2 year period. Others seem to be happy with theirs. The last time around I went with LG.

I love my Panny Plasmas, I have a 50 upstairs and 42 down stairs, Veddy nice. 5-6 years on the 50, trouble free.

My only comment would be Plasma can have some glare compared to LCD, but with your's in a basement, non-factor....

I have a 50 inch Panasonic Plasma, probably 4-5 years old I guess. No problems at all and outstanding picture so long as you have a good source (which will be the case for any HDTV).

I just watched the last few minutes of the Packer game at Bestbuy with all kinds of other TV's right there. I really like the picture and feel the difference in brightness is obviously more noticeable right next to the super brright LED's. Sale price is good until 9/15... won't need it for at leasat another 6 weeks so I hate to grab it right now just to jam in the back room and hope nothing happens to it. Plus, I hate to have my 30 days to return it be spent in the box as well. Might just roll the dice and hope it's not too much more expensive a few weeks down the road.

I did like the 80" Sharp as well, but I don't see me talking The Warden into that one...She wouldn't even budge on the 70!!

Derwood, Don't worry about pricing, the best deals are still ahead around Turkey day, trust me.
