If you don't tip you should probably not order for delivery or eat out. Also if you don't tip, I would not recommend ordering from the same place very often, they remember for sure. Check out the movie "waiting" gives you an idea of how things work. The nice thing is most people are decent folks and their tips typically make up for those who don't.

Always tip at least 5 dollars for delivery, sometimes a little more if we have a pizza party with many pizzas.
Sometimes the weather is severe and than I tip more or would get it myself. A lot of these kids are in college and work very hard with a lot of wear and tear on their vehicles. Have you checked gas prices lately? |

I always tip a MINIMUM of 2 bucks. My pizza is here SAP. Some years ago on another site, there was similar post. Some guy claimed to be a delivery driver for some chain. He said if he was "stiffed" more than twice, he would "get even". He said at times he would open the box, and either sneeze on it, spit on it, or stick his fingers all over it. Not very appetizing. Whether he actually did it or not, I don't know, but, I don't want to find out. A couple of bucks to me is worth the convience of sitting home on a snowy nite, and just answering the door.

Some cheap people on here. I tip based on the order and usually tip pretty well. Like someone else said, we tip the waiter 15 to 20%. I also agree my food has less chance of being rubbed on their weiner if I tip well too. Amazes me how many people are rude and cheap to servers. If you do that consistently you are bound to get something in your food you don't want.

We tip $5 if the delivery time is short and if the pizza is still hot, if not...tip can go down to just a buck or two, or less. Al

My wife put herself through college with food service tips- so she always makes sure we give a decent tip for any server or delivery person.
I'm a loyal customer and sure don't want to be known as a cheapster at places I frequent for food, haircuts etc |
