Amara-Can Walleye tournament date for Dunkirk, ny???

Does anyone know if & when the Amara-Can tournament at Dunkirk,NY is being held. Tx. dickM

They moved it 1 week later....supposedly a request from participants
to get away from the 4th...

New dates are July 15/16.

If you are interested in a properly ran tournament that same weekend the KAWA will be fishing Chautauqua Lake.

I didn't think of it when I posted the dates, but Gilligan's
reply made me think of it....

The Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club in Dunkirk is holding
their second annual team thing August 4-6. It is a team thing, but
also individual.

$100 entry. You can have a 4 man team, but no less than 2 and no
more than 3 can fish each day...kind of a nice twist if guys have
to work. Weigh in is max 3 fish per team per day (basically 1 per guy). If you only can fish 1 day, you can still win the day, and
still place a fish overall. They are also having a bonus prize
for team's 3 day total weight if you fish all 3 days. I know
that they have gotten better draw prizes this year from Great
Lakes Angler and Fishlander to name a few.

They had 31 boats last year, and already have that many signed up.

I am considering fishing some of this one, sounds interesting and also met some of the organizers last year, seems to be much better ran.
