Lowrance 3500C vs Garmin 182C/192C

I have never used a Lowrance GPS unit but have used a few Garmin GPS units on friends boats. I really like the specs and price of the Lowrance but just wondering your opinions on the 3500c versus the Garmin 182C. Is it as easy to use? Is the screen as bright?
