Default ruggles-saturday

Trolled Ruggles reef area till 9:00 PM. Picked up one 24" eye early afternoon in 27ft on (huskey jerk) but that was it. The Friday blow must be to blame. Couldn't ask for better weather on Saturday for this time of year. Any reports from the other boats I saw at Ruggles or in front of Huron. Hope you did better than me!
Thanks, joe

Default Ruggles -Sat.

Joe, there were some very good fish taken in the area sat. i saw them myself, so it isn't heresay, there were a couple of 13 pounders, and quite a few over 10, and a lot over 6 pounders. oh ,by the way don't feel bad ,we only came in with 1 fish too, another boat that always does good came in with 2, but the same time that we came in so did some of the guys that did do good. so i guess that it was just our day in the barrel. thats why they call it fishin instead of catching. good luck and good fishin.

Default Huron/Vermillion Sunday

Fished today(sunday) out of Vermillion. Saw at least 8 other boats trolling for walleyes at the 27/26 'till it got too choppy for me and I went in towards the castle.

Landed 1 24", and missed a bigger one after taking the board off and trying to net it. Both on the purple demon ripstick 120' back.

Today was my last trip 'till next year, if you're still goin' out, dress warm and be careful out there, there is no room for errors!!!

Den, I know you check these postings, Thanks for all of your help. Without you, there wouldn't be any fish(except Steelhead), in the freezer!

Greg

Default sunday night

Hey Huck,
What time of the night were you getting those hogs? Wondering if it was late. I was out until 9:00 on Saturday with no action.
Thanks, Joe

Default Reply to Den and Joe

Den,I didn't have Oilman with me and don't know if he was out. Most guys went in early because of the rain, lucky me I've got a hard top and it wasn't bad at all.
Joe, I caught 1 fish before 9:00 and 4 after 10. 2 were taken on Wonderbread Ripsticks 55ft bk. and the rest were taken on Super Rouges Clown and Blue,Orange
