Perch in Cleveland-No Walleye at Huron

Spent the hole day fishing yesterday. Limit of perch in Cleveland North of town. Went with Stan the Man. Stan caught a nice 9lb. 27" Burbot - hoped to release but fish came belly up to the boat 3 minutes after released. Stan will have mounted with a friend for potential competition.
Went to Huron in the evening - warm weather -dirty water- no shad to be seen - no walleye to be taken. I'm starting to think that mother nature wants to protect her little eyes. May be time to start cleaning next years trolling gear and let the eyes rest. Remember Santa "What about the children that don't want fish for Christmas" Guess they go hungry. A Merry X-Mas to All !!!
