wisconsin dells

going to hit the wisconsin river below the dells dam. i was wondering if anyone has fished it in the last couple of days. going up new years day temp is going to be 40 with sun. hope boat launch is open or will i have to break ice? if you have been up what was your most productive bait and rig. i would think the bite would be on because of weather conditions.i will let everyone no how it went when i get back thanks for any info. happy new year. walleye master

My suggestion for you is to call the RiversEdge Resort before you head out there! Last I heard the river was froze up!!! The last time I was out was a few weeks ago in the boat and there was very little cuurent in the river. I would guess that is frozen for sure. Best bet is to call Rivers Edge Resort or maybe Jumbo Jim will see your post and let you know because he lives out there I believe!
