Default fishing report wis river below dells dam

Went out Jan. 1st, some ice on shelves but the launches were clear. Caught at least 70 walleye and sauger. A lot of small fish between 13 and 14in. worked a lot of deeper holes between 20 and 30ft this seem to be where most of the fish were staging. Tried all different areas of river, this seemed to be the most productive. Using 1/4 ounce jig with minnow, bouncing bottom. Also slip rig with 1/8 ounce river sinker with no 6 hook with red bead on top of hook. Not too bad of a day for Jan. 1st. Have a good one.

Default Where did you launch?

I passed on fishing up there because I heard the launches were frozen.
