Default Bay De Noc Eye's

Fished Bay de Noc on Dec.27/28. two guys went through traveling after dark near the Days river. One guy made it to shore and one died. We accessed the bay from Vagabond Resort on the northeast side, and traveled south to the area just off the large underwater point in about the middle of the bay on the east side. There was 8"-10" of ice where we traveled and fished. We fished in 40'to 44' of water using #7/#9 jigging Rapala's and a few fish were caught with Airplane jigs/Shiner minnows. I would suggest staying away from Hunter point and the narrows area due to current.Had several 7lb. fish with other smaller.
