Does anyone know if there is any ice on the Tongue River Res. yet?
I am dying to give this place a try but hate the idea of driving a LONG way to get there not to mention even trying to find any live bait out here and not even being able to get out! Also if anyone out there has any tips for places to fish there I sure would appreciate it since I have never actually been on the lake. |

Check out the Billings Gazette this morning. Bob Krumm went fishing down there last weekend and did a write-up on it. He said there was 4-6 inches of ice at the time. You can check it out online at: www.billingsgazette.com/outdoors
Good luck, mark |

WOW! What an eyeopener your story was in the Gazzette. I tend to side with the outfitters on the real facts. Not some guy in a helicopter making up numbers. The upper Lamar use to be a sure bet for great numbers of elk. The beurocrats will find a way to manage these Wolves like the Buffalo. Hire some state guy to shoot them at the taxpayers expense. Keep up the good work Mark and see you at the Gov Cup this year. I will be the one holding the big check. Ha Ha
