Default Boysen Res. Wyomng

Fished about a mile south of mmarina. Five inches of clear hard ice. Got 2 walleyes, 2 sauger, 1 ling, All on tipups with minnows. Tried jigging with no luck. No snow on ice, very slick.
Can't find big minnows. Shoshoni and Boysen marina have small minnows.

Boysen is located in central Wy between Riverton and Thermopolis. Basically out in the middle of nowhere. Where are you from fish? Read earlier you where interested in Tounge River Res.

I am in South-Eastern Montana, a little town called Ashland. I just moved here 6 months ago from S.E. Wisconsin. Still trying to get used to driving a ways to get to a lake to fish. I was used to going about 5 to 10 mintues to get to more lakes than I could pick from.

The Tongue River Res. is one of the closest places (in Montana views of close) I have been able to find out about that has good Walleye fishing along with some great Crappie fishing I hear. I haven't had a chance to fish it yet but an really itching to get out there! Right now I am still trying to hook up with some of the locals. I don't like the idea of going alone, esecially for the first time, to a lake I don't know.

I have heard some talk about places in WY to fish and am not real familiar with locations. Hence the location question.

I fished Tounge River last summer. We caught a ton of bullheads and a few cats. My buddy has fished it more and caught some nice smallmouths.
He said he was going to try it thru the ice yesterday. We plan on going back to Boysen this weekend. I,ll let youy know. I was in Ashland several years ago. Northern Wyoming Lakes to think about are Buffalo Bill, Yellowtail, De Smet
and Keyhole. If you are intereted let me know. I'm real new to this online stuff, but I'm trying to learn.

Keyhole is an excellent walleye and pike lake.
